Well its that time of year approaching fast. This is open to all members of the club. It would be nice o see a few more their this year
International Field Day Event
Saturday 7th & Sunday 8th July sees WARS taking part in this years RSGB National Field Day and we have kindly been offered by Tom,s family. An excellent Location in the village of Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant Grid Reference :IO82LT-39 - 52.833018, -3.350208

The area doted in red is the field and shed were we are allowed
We are asked Not to leave anything behind. If the sheep ? are back in the fields to leave alone and of course goes without saying No dogs
? are allowed
The Contest itself runs from 14:00 hrs on the Saturday until 14:00 on the Sunday
Those wishing to stay over there will be accommodation in the way of 12 man tent just need sleeping bag and bed. I have limited amount of air beds.
Please bring your own food to put in to a food pool or to keep for oneself.
We shall be arriving well before the start of contest to get the site ready. More hands make light work.
This is set to be another good weekend of radio

Talacre Lighthouse Point of Air
Big thank you to Simon,Chris,Lisa,and Kevin. for turning up at the Talacre volunteer day. A successful and rewarding morning removing Scrub from selected areas in very warm conditions. I’m sure the people from ENI will be very great full with the work done.

Members of Wrexham Amateur Radio Society, took part in the annual Practical Wireless Contest from their usual location Nantyr nr Chirk
